Around 30 masked and heavily armed law enforcement officers raided the offices of Daghestani newspaper Chernovik on Wednesday morning, as part of a criminal case against journalist Abdulmumin Gadzhiyev. OSCE calls on Azerbaijan to release illegally jailed journalists

The OSCE Media Freedom representative, Harlem Désir, has called on Azerbaijani authorities to end ‘restrictive measures detrimental to journalists’ freedom and safety’.
