Israel orders off-duty troops to leave Georgia and Azerbaijan amidst Iran tensions

The Israeli Defence Forces have reportedly ordered off-duty personnel to leave Georgia and Azerbaijan, amidst fears of an attack on Israeli targets by Iran. Yerevan Synagogue attacked for fourth time in a year

Yerevan’s synagogue has been attacked for the fourth time since October 2023, in a series of incidents that many in the city’s Jewish community suggest are part of a ‘provocation’ from outside of Armenia. As the Israel-Hamas war continues, the North Caucasus has seen a number of violent antisemitic incidents. Daghestani police disperse second pro-Palestine rally in a week

The Daghestani police have dispersed hundreds of people rallying in support of Palestine in Khasavyurt. Two MMA fighters, Chechen Khamzat Chimayev, and Daghestani Islam Makhachev, also expressed support for Palestine over the weekend. Pro-Palestine protesters ‘issued military summons’ in Daghestan

Several people protesting in support of Palestine in the Russian republic of Daghestan have reportedly been detained and given military summonses.  Footage and images posted on local Telegram channels on Tuesday showed several dozen men gathered on the central square of the Daghestani capital, Makhachkala. Georgian State Security Service ‘foils plot’ to kill Israeli citizen
