Georgian Dream have begun a campaign of electoral ads using images of buildings destroyed by Russia in Ukraine under the caption ‘choose peace’, including the aftermath of the deadly Mariupol Drama Theatre bombing. Chechen authorities threaten to send Azerbaijani citizens to fight in Ukraine

Five Azerbaijani citizens have been detained in Chechnya under threat of being sent to fight in Ukraine. In response, Azerbaijan has sent a note of protest to the Russian Foreign Ministry. Chechen commander orders captured Chechens in Ukraine to ‘kill themselves’

A Chechen special forces commander has dismissed calls for a prisoner swap with Ukraine, and ordered captured Chechen soldiers to kill themselves so that they could end their ‘journey as men’. South Ossetia signs ‘youth cooperation agreement’ with occupied Donetsk

South Ossetia has signed a ‘youth policy cooperation agreement’ with the Russian occupation authorities in Donetsk, pledging to hold joint events and to develop youth relations. Queer men in Chechnya ‘forced to fight in Ukraine’
