Georgia’s Minister of Health, Labour, and Social Affairs, Davit Sergeenko, has resigned from the government. Sergeenko was known as one of the most popular politicians in the country, regularly coming out on top in public opinion polls. Georgian social workers end strike after government ‘partially’ meets their demands

Georgia’s social workers have returned to work after a week-long strike, announcing that the government had ‘partially’ met their demands. Striking Georgian social workers demand meeting with Prime Minister

Georgia’s social workers are demanding a meeting with Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze in order to address the ‘systemic changes’ they say are needed to the social services system.
